Most of our patients are referred to us from other dentists or physicians. Do we only see referrals? No! We also provide services to non-referral patients. We often see patients for second opinions, consultations, and to discuss options. See below for some examples of a first visit.
Your First Visit
Routine Exam -Cleaning by our hygienist, comprehensive exam from Dr. J. Hawley or Dr. R. Hawley, appropriate X-rays, and discussion of conditions and treatment options
New Patient Exam - Comprehensive exam from Dr. J Hawley or Dr. R. Hawley, appropriate X-rays, and discussion of conditions and treatment options
Consultation/Second Opinion - X-rays sent from another office, comprehensive exam from Dr. J Hawley or Dr. R. Hawley, appropriate X-rays (if additional information needed), and discussion of conditions and treatment options.

Dental Insurance
Our office is Out-Of-Network (OON) with all insurance companies. That means we are NOT In-Network with anyone - in other words, we do not have a contract for a reduced fee schedule with insurance companies. BUT we handle all the paperwork for PPO insurances on your behalf as a courtesy to our patients. We are happy to send "pre-authorizations" to your insurance company to get an estimate of what is covered versus out-of-pocket before starting treatment. Financing Options
We give our patients three options when it comes to financing their dental treatments so they can choose which one suits them best:
- “Pay as you go”
- Local financing (0% interest for 12 months or 5.99% for 18 months or 7.99% for 36 months--rates may fluctuate depending on bank and approval)
- CareCredit (low-to-no interest financing, choose from a long list of plans curated just for you)
