Meet Our Dental Team Abilene

Jennifer, Front Desk

Jennifer is from Abilene. Having been in the dental field for more than a decade, she has experience in assisting in general dentistry as well as orthodontics. One of the things she loves most about her job is that every day is different!

Jennifer is happily married to Adrian, her high school sweetheart. They have four daughters, one son, and one granddaughter. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hanging out with her family and shopping for plants.

Laramie, Front Desk

A native of Tuscola, Laramie is a graduate of Cisco College. She began her dental career right here at our practice. She considers getting to work alongside our wonderful staff to be the best part of her job.

Laramie’s family includes her mother, her father, and her three siblings. She spends a lot of time with her son Suede, and she often goes horseback riding or hog hunting.

Melissa, Dental Assistant

Hailing from Boise, Melissa has more than two decades of dental experience and is certified in DA expanded functions as well as CPR and phlebotomy. She is proud to be able to work with such a great team and have the chance to improve the smiles of so many patients.

Melissa’s family is small but continues to grow as friends become family. She has a number of hobbies, such as going on nature walks, refurbishing old items, and experimenting with cooking. 

Miriam, Dental Hygienist

Originally from Abilene, Miriam is a registered dental hygienist who has been in the dental field for well over 15 years. She prides herself on being able to treat patients with consistent care and compassion. She has been working with Dr. Hawley since 2012!

Miriam and her husband have a deep appreciation for the Abilene community. When she’s not at the office, Miriam can often be found teaching dance classes, sewing, or practicing photography. She and her husband also periodically go on road trips throughout Texas.

Tonya, Office Manager

Tonya hails from Denver City. Over the course of her dental career, she has had the opportunity to serve as a dental assistant as well as an office manager. She loves all of our patients, and she appreciates how much our staff feels like a family.

Tonya has enjoyed more than three decades of marriage to her wonderful husband. She has three daughters as well as two granddaughters. She loves reading, cooking, and spending time with her family whenever she’s not at work.

Lacee, Dental Assistant

Lacee has been working in the dental field for over a decade now. She studied with Everest Dental Assisting and has experience in treating all ages. She is also certified in conscious sedation, nitrous oxide monitoring, and coronal polishing. Her favorite part of this job is helping patients with their concerns and seeing them leave feeling happy and confident with their new smiles.

Originally from Georgetown, Lacee is very close with her small, blended family and has a boyfriend named Nolen. When she isn’t busy caring for patients, she teaches yoga at a local studio and has also been playing the guitar and ukulele since she was 14 years old. Some other favorite hobbies include listening to music, hiking through nature, and lifting weights at the gym!
